The Fred Mitchell Award recognizes 16 place-kickers for their excellence on the football field during September and for continued community service off the field. It is a pleasure to recognize kickers that were nominated by their schools for terrific performances during the first month of the season. The Fred Mitchell Award recognizes 27 place-kickers on its annual Watch List for their excellence on the football field during the 2015 season and for continued community service during their off-season. “I continue to be encouraged by the quality of kickers on our 2016 preseason Watch List and we look forward to monitoring their progress on and off the field throughout the season. Wisconsin-Whitewater’s Schebler wins 2009 Fred Mitchell Award

University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Senior place-kicker Jeff Schebler is the recipient of the 2009 Fred Mitchell Award. Schebler was chosen from nearly 400 eligible place-kickers in Division II and III for excellence on the football field and in the community.
