Fred Mitchell Award recognizes Oct. 2021 performances

The Fred Mitchell Award recognizes 27 place-kickers for their excellence on the football field and for continued community service during their off-season. It is a pleasure to recognize kickers that were nominated by their schools for terrific performances for October, 2021.

The recipient of the Fred Mitchell Award will be announced in mid-December based on performance on the football field and in the community.

The breakdown of the 27 place-kickers is as follows:

  • Collegiate Division – 5 FCS, 9 Division II, 8 Division III, 4 NAIA, and 1 NJCAA
  • State – The place-kickers play at schools located in 21 different states
  • Year –  4 Graduate Student, 8 Seniors, 6 Juniors, 2 Sophomores, and 7 Freshmen
