Fred Mitchell Award recognizes Nov. 2021 performances

The Fred Mitchell Award recognizes 26 place-kickers for their excellence on the football field and for continued community service during their off-season. It is a pleasure to recognize kickers that were nominated by their schools for terrific performances for November, 2021.

The recipient of the Fred Mitchell Award will be announced in mid-December based on performance on the football field and in the community.

The breakdown of the 26 place-kickers is as follows:

  • Collegiate Division – 7 FCS, 8 Division II, 9 Division III, 1 NAIA, and 1 NJCAA
  • State – The place-kickers play at schools located in 18 different states
  • Year – 1 Graduate Student, 6 Seniors, 6 Juniors, 5 Sophomores, and 6 Freshmen
