Fred Mitchell Award recognizes October 2019 performances

The Fred Mitchell Award recognizes 38 place-kickers for their excellence on the football field for the 2019-2020 season and for continued community service during their collegiate careers. As the list grows, so does our pride in these committed young men. Now our 11th year of presenting the Fred Mitchell Award, the quality of our watch-list members continues to impress.

Selection Committee Chairman Rob Perry, notes about our October nominees “The distances they are reaching are impressive. We’re confident that it will resemble the distances these young men will reach off the field, as well.”

The recipient of the Fred Mitchell Award will be announced in mid-December based on performance on the football field and in the community. The season’s watch lists and updates may also be found on Facebook (http://facebook.com/fredmitchellaward), and on Twitter at @kickeruww.
