Fred Mitchell Award recognizes 30 kickers for September performances
The Fred Mitchell Award recognizes 31 place-kickers for their excellence on the football field during the month of September and for continued community service during their off-season. As the list grows, so does our pride in these committed young men.
The recipient of the Fred Mitchell Award will be announced in mid-December based on performance on the football field and in the community.
The breakdown of the 30 place-kickers is as follows:
- Collegiate Division – 6 FCS, 8 Division II, 13 Division III, 1 NAIA, and 2 NJCAA
- State – the place-kickers play at schools located in 19 different states. (AL (2), CA, CT (2), GA, IL (3), IA, MA (2), MD (2), MN, MS, NJ, NM, NY (4), PA, SC, TN, TX (2), UT (2), and WI)
- Year – 11 Seniors, 10 Juniors, 7 Sophomores, and 2 Freshmen
