Fred Mitchell Award recognizes 30 kickers for September performances
The Fred Mitchell Award recognizes 31 place-kickers for their excellence on the football field during the month of September and for continued community service during their off-season. As the list grows, so does our pride in these committed young men. The recipient of the Fred Mitchell Award will be announced in mid-December based on performance on the football field and in the community. The breakdown of the 30 place-kickers is as follows: Collegiate Division – 6 FCS, 8 Division II, 13 Division III, 1 NAIA, and 2 NJCAA State – the place-kickers play at schools located in 19 different states....
